David in the creek  Putting up block nets Marsh hikin’

Hello and welcome to my website.  As of August 2008, I graduated with my Ph.D. at Louisiana State University under the tutelage of Dr. John Fleeger.  My dissertation focused on the effect of ecosystem-scale manipulation of trophic alterations (top-down control) and nutrient loading (bottom-up control) on benthic fauna (i.e., macroinvertebrates) in a Massachusetts salt marsh (TIDE project).  In general, my interests include top-down/bottom-up control, predator-prey interactions, community ecology (e.g., trophic cascades, trophic omnivory), and trait (e.g., behavoir) mediated effects in food webs.  Please use the tabs above to learn more about me and my salt marsh.  Thank you for visiting my site.
